This Week's Top Actions
If your supervisor is Supervisor Melgar, Chen, or Mahmood, call them and tell them: Let’s advance Supervisor Mandelman’s climate-protecting ordinance to the full Board!
We want to see our supervisors uphold the promise of SF being a sanctuary city that protects all its residents. Tell them how you feel about their vote on the RV ban.
Last week Supervisor Chyanne Chen introduced a resolution asking local law enforcement agents to come up with protocols for responding to ICE activity. Please call your Supervisor and thank them for passing Supervisor Chen’s resolution.
The Trump regime is pushing a bill through Congress that will rescind previously-appropriated funding from a number of important services, including public broadcasting (NPR and PBS) and foreign aid. These services have already received steep cuts in the recently-passed MAGA Murder Budget for next fiscal year; the rescission bill will take away funding they’ve already received.
Tell your Members of Congress to investigate Palantir’s secretive activities collaborating with Trump’s deportation efforts

We make a request. On July 17, 2025, grab a candle. Light it. Do it in honor of the legacy of John Lewis. Do it in honor of those who never wavered, who were knocked down, but got back up, time and time again, despite beatings, injuries and insults. They took risks for the greater good.
Get ready now to become a Disinformation Disrupter. Disinformation is rampant on the internet and in social media, and especially on far-right platforms. Some examples you might have heard about: Obama’s birth certificate, Russian bots attempting to influence elections, non-citizens voting in US elections, vaccinations causing autism, January 6 being a false-flag operation – the list could be endless. With the 2026 mid-term and 2028 general elections presenting the best opportunities for reversing the slide into authoritarianism, the possibility that disinformation could disrupt those processes is especially concerning.
If you see masked gunmen, consider calling the police from a safe distance. If they are clearly ICE or other law enforcement, you may want to film them if they are clearly law enforcement and you can safely do so. Here are some things you should know.
Upcoming Events
Join Bay Resistance for our volunteer public outreach days in July and August, to get the word out to our communities in order to spread the word and organize to keep the formerly closed federal women's detention center from re-opening as an ICE detention center in Dublin.
From rural towns to major cities, Families First actions will bring people together to collectively demand an end to policies that harm children, seniors, and our families. We reject the Administration's actions that have gutted essential programs like Medicaid, FEMA, food stamps, school lunches, and more, all so a handful of billionaires can get tax giveaways.
350SF and SF Climate Emergency Coalition will hold a rally on the steps of City Hall at noon on July 28, 2025. The legislation will be heard at 1:30 in Room 250 of City Hall.
Join us for the rally, come to the hearing and make public comments in support of this important legislation, or write a letter to the Supervisors and the Mayor.
Join us July 30 at noon at Pier 33 for the press conference to protest prisons and from 2-4 pm at Pier 1 (Harry Bridges Plaza) to celebrate life and protest $ 1 trillion in cuts to health care
